Rust-Oleum Farm & Implement Paint is an oil-based alkyd enamel that puts a rust-preventive finish on tractors, farm implements, trailers and lawn mowers in bright original equipment colors. Rust-Oleum builds it on the Stops Rust formula for coverage, chip resistance and color retention.

Not for use on galvanized metal.

Surface prep: Wash off dirt, grease, oil, salt and chemical contaminants, and clean mold or mildew with a chlorinated cleaner or bleach solution. On steel, scrape and wire brush or power tool clean to remove loose rust, scale and failed coatings. Rust-Oleum specifies Rusty Metal Primer for sound rusted metal and Clean Metal Primer for clean metal before the finish coat. Sand smooth or glossy previously coated surfaces to give the enamel a profile.

Tip: Apply only when air and surface temperatures are between 50 and 90 deg F with relative humidity below 85 percent. Stir thoroughly before use. Use a good quality natural or polyester bristle brush, or a 1/4 in. nap roller on smooth surfaces and a 3/8 in. nap on rough ones. Do not thin with gasoline, lacquer thinner or turpentine. Clean up with acetone or mineral spirits.

Note: Every monitor displays color differently. If an exact equipment match matters, test the color on a hidden area or against the machine before painting a full panel.
