Application Tip: Use high speed and steady forward pressure. For tear-out-sensitive cuts on the show side of plywood or veneer, run the blade with the good face down (jigsaws cut on the upstroke and tear the upper face). A strip of painter's tape along the cut line on the show side also reduces splintering.

Selection Tip: Pick this blade for clean cuts in fresh, fastener-free wood. For demo, remodel, or reclaimed lumber where hidden nails, drywall screws, or metal lath may be in the cut path, switch to the nail-embedded-wood version of the same length -- it survives fasteners that snap a wood-only blade.
