MILWAUKEE T-SHANK BI-METAL JIGSAW BLADE - 4" x 10 TPI, NAIL-EMBEDDED WOOD, 5-PACKMilwaukee bi-metal T-shank jigsaw blades fuse high-speed steel teeth to a flexible spring-steel body, an industry-standard construction that lasts up to 10 times longer than carbon-steel. This 4" nail-embedded-wood blade is the demolition and remodeling blade in the lineup: 10 TPI bi-metal teeth cut aggressively through framing lumber, sheathing, and joists but power through hidden finish nails, screws, and metal lath without shattering -- the same blade gets through wood and the fasteners buried in it.
- Bi-metal construction cuts wood and the embedded nails, screws, or metal lath buried in it
- 10 TPI tooth count for fast, aggressive cuts in framing lumber and sheathing
- 4" cutting length for standard cutting depth in 2x stock and subfloor
- T-shank fits Milwaukee, Bosch, DeWalt, Makita, and most modern jigsaws
- For demo cuts, remodel work, cutting reclaimed lumber, and roof or wall openings
- 5 blades per pack
Application Tip: Use high speed and steady forward pressure. Bi-metal blades produce a rougher edge than dedicated wood blades -- this blade is for demo and openings, not for finish scroll cuts in cabinet or trim work. When the blade hits a fastener, slow the feed but keep it moving; stopping mid-fastener can pinch and snap the teeth.
Selection Tip: Pick this blade for remodel cutting where unknown nails, drywall screws, or metal lath are likely. For clean cuts in fresh, fastener-free wood, the 4" wood-cutting blade produces a noticeably smoother edge.
