WATTS ANKA REINFORCED NYLON 90-DEGREE ELBOW - 1-1/4"

Make a 90-degree turn in 1-1/4" ID-sized polyethylene pipe, garden hose, or washdown line without tools or extra fittings. The fiberglass-reinforced nylon body with bright blue captive compression nuts on each end is the ANKA signature - approved for potable water, non-corrosive in fertilizer and chlorinated lines, and rated 230 PSI at 140 deg F. Used in agricultural irrigation, rural water service, hydroponic systems, marine washdown, and contractor garden-hose work.

  • Barb x barb 90-degree elbow for 1-1/4" ID PE pipe, tube, or hose
  • Fiberglass-reinforced nylon - non-corrosive in fertilizer, chlorine, and saltwater
  • Two captive blue compression nuts hand-tighten; no clamps or tools needed
  • UV stabilized for above-ground service; approved for potable water
  • Max 230 PSI at 140 deg F; reusable after disassembly
  • Accommodates a range of PE wall thicknesses with one fitting size

The 1-1/4" elbow is the agricultural and commercial-scale size: turns large irrigation mains around field perimeters, makes the bend on livestock waterer supply lines, routes the corner on big pump intake or discharge runs, and handles fire-tank or pond-fill loops on hobby farms. Common upstream of a manifold where the main steps down to multiple 1" or 3/4" laterals via ANKA reducing fittings.

Tip: At this diameter both hands and full body weight are usually needed to seat the pipe over the barbs - warm the PE in roughly 140 deg F tap water for 30 seconds to soften it first. If a hand-tightened blue nut still weeps at 230 PSI, a strap wrench (not channel locks) gives controlled extra torque without crushing the captive seal.
