The 3/4" elbow is the workhorse residential size: turns 3/4" garden hose around the corner of a house, makes the bend from a hose-bib extension to a fence-line spray run, routes a 3/4" PE lateral around an outbuilding, and handles contractor washdown hose loops in dairy and stockyard setups. Tip: Push each pipe end fully past both inner barb shoulders before snugging the blue nuts - if the pipe stops at the first barb, the joint will weep under pressure. A small dab of dish soap on the barbs eases insertion on cold-day installs without affecting the seal.
