Common 1/2" applications: sprinkler riser drop turning out of a manifold, drip-line header corner along a raised bed, greenhouse misting-loop bend, and residential lateral turning around a corner of the house. Tip: The 1/2" size is the most sensitive to angled or burred pipe ends - use a poly pipe cutter (not a hacksaw or utility knife) so each end seats fully and squarely against the inner barb shoulder. Hand-tighten both blue nuts firmly; skip the channel locks because over-torque crushes the captive seal.
