Old Masters Gel Stain is a highly pigmented, oil-based stain that builds intense Maple color on interior wood, fiberglass, primed metal and composition surfaces. The thick gel formula allows easy application and superior color control, so most surfaces reach a rich, uniform color in a single application.

• Color: Maple
• Container: 1/2 Pint, 8 fl oz
• Covers approximately 62 to 75 sq ft (Old Masters publishes 1,000 to 1,200 sq ft per gallon)
• Especially recommended for pine, birch, maple, poplar and cherry; excellent on vertical surfaces
• Dries in approximately 6 to 8 hours; a second coat may be applied after 8 hours for more depth
• To lighten, mix any proportion with Natural Gel Stain; do not thin
• Cleans up with paint thinner or mineral spirits
• Max VOC: 550 grams/liter (4.6 lbs/gal)

Tip: Gel Stain may be used on the exterior side of entry and garage doors when it is topcoated with a protective exterior clear finish. Custom colors can be mixed by intermixing Gel Stain colors or by adding up to 10 oz of universal or industrial colorant per gallon.

Safety: Rags, steel wool, sanding residue and other waste soaked with this product can catch fire on their own. Place them in a sealed, water-filled metal container immediately and dispose of them in accordance with local fire regulations.
