Tip: Heavy structural anchor bolts, hold-down posts, equipment mount studs in masonry pours, larger pipe and conduit hangers, and marine and deck framing tie-rods carrying real load. At 36 in. this is handy stock for cut-to-fit hangers and anchor work under about three feet. Pair with hot-dipped galvanized hex nuts and washers - mixing electroplated hardware on a hot-dipped rod sacrifices the corrosion advantage at the joint.
