Zinsser Bulls-Eye 1-2-3 is a high-hide water-based primer-sealer, stain blocker and bond coat designed for priming all surfaces. Rated for interior and exterior walls, ceilings, doors, trim, fascia, soffits, foundations, railings and related paintable surfaces.

• Gray base formulated for use under dark, deep or vivid topcoat colors; tinting the primer toward the topcoat color improves the topcoat's hiding power
• Coverage approximately 100-112 sq ft per quart (450 sq ft per gallon on non-porous surfaces, 350 on porous)
• Styrenated acrylic water-based formula (Zinsser TDS BEY123-01); low odor, soap-and-water cleanup
• Bonds to glossy surfaces without scuff sanding or de-glossing - enamel paints, varnishes, paneling, laminates and ceramic tile
• Use on bare or painted wood, drywall, cured plaster, concrete, stucco and masonry, aluminum, vinyl, steel, galvanized metal and PVC
• Traps most stains in the primer film - graffiti, grease, handprints, rust, crayon, asphalt, creosote, light water stains and cedar or redwood tannin bleed
• Rust-inhibitive - may be used to prime iron railings, steel frames and piping
• Resists mold and mildew growth in damp, humid environments; resists high pH surfaces up to 12.5
• Dries to touch in 35 minutes, topcoat in 1 hour; stain sealing in 2 hours, 24 hours over cedar; full adhesion and hardness in 7 days
• Apply by brush, roller or sprayer between 35-90 deg F with relative humidity under 85% (airless: .017 tip at 2000-2500 psi)
• Ready to use; if thinning is needed add no more than 10 oz of clean water per gallon and apply a second coat. Tint with up to 2 oz of universal colorant per gallon
• 10.5 lb per gallon; 50.5% solids by weight (34.0% by volume); VOC under 100 g/l; Class 1 flame spread and smoke contribution (ASTM E84)

Tip: Use the gray base under dark or saturated topcoats for better hide with fewer finish coats.

Important: Zinsser does not recommend Bulls Eye 1-2-3 for floors or decks, or for any surface subject to immersion or prolonged contact with water. For severe water and smoke stains and the odors that come with them, Zinsser directs you to B-I-N Ultimate Stain-Blocker instead.
