Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 is a high-hiding water-based acrylic primer, sealer, and stain blocker that bonds to virtually any surface without sanding. The gray base is formulated for use under dark, deep, or vivid topcoat colors and reduces the number of finish coats needed compared to white primer. Recommended for interior and exterior use on wood, plaster, concrete, gloss enamels, hardboard, glass, ceramic tile, PVC, fiberglass, aluminum, iron, steel, and galvanized metal.

• 100% acrylic water-based formula with low odor and soap-and-water cleanup
• Coverage approximately 400-450 sq ft per gallon
• Dries to touch in 35 minutes; topcoat in 1 hour; stain sealing in 2 hours (tannin 24 hours)
• Sticks to glossy surfaces without pre-sanding or deglossing
• Blocks stains from water, rust, grease, cedar and redwood tannin, creosote, asphalt, and common graffiti
• Resists mold and mildew on the primer film in damp environments
• Rust-inhibitive coating for iron railings, steel frames, and pipes
• High pH resistance up to 12.5 for use over concrete, stucco, plaster, and fresh joint compound
• Compatible under oil-based and latex topcoats
• Solids 50.5% by weight, 34% by volume; freeze-thaw stable
• Ready to use; tint with up to 2 oz of universal colorant per gallon

Tip: Choose gray primer under dark or saturated topcoats for better hide and fewer finish coats.
