Rust-Oleum Professional High Performance Protective Enamel is an oil-modified alkyd enamel with excellent rust prevention when applied directly to metal. It also offers excellent coverage, chip resistance and color retention, making it a commercial-quality finish for heavy-duty environments indoors and out.

Surface Prep: Clean the surface with soap and water, rinse and let dry. Remove loose paint and rust with a wire brush or sandpaper, and lightly sand glossy surfaces.

Application Tip: Apply only when air and surface temperatures are between 32 and 90F and humidity is below 65%. Mix thoroughly first so any settled pigment is re-dispersed. Brush and roller application normally needs no thinning - thin only with acetone if necessary, never with gasoline, lacquer thinner or turpentine. Clean tools with mineral spirits.
