White virgin PTFE thread seal tape (Teflon tape) for sealing tapered pipe threads on plumbing, gas, and industrial connections. Wraps onto male threads and conforms under joint compression to fill the helical leak path between mating threads.

Tip: 3/4" width is the right size for larger residential and small commercial threaded joints - 1" to 2" NPT fittings, water-heater connections, gas-line drip-legs, and irrigation manifolds. The wider tape covers the deeper threads in a single wrap and is faster than overlapping two passes of 1/2" tape on the same fitting.
