Watts ANKA glass-fiber-reinforced nylon barb-to-male-pipe-thread adapter for poly pipe and braided vinyl hose. The blue captive Easy Grip nut threads down over the barb and clamps the pipe in place - no separate hose clamp needed. The fitting body is corrosion-proof and won't galvanize against galvanized steel threads. Typical uses at 3/4" include garden hose runs, low-pressure water transfer, livestock waterers, and irrigation laterals.

Tip: Cut poly pipe square and warm the pipe end with hot water before pushing it onto the barb - cold poly resists the barb and the nut threads will cross. Tighten the captive nut until the pipe stops slipping when you pull it; don't crank past that point or the nylon nut threads will strip.
