SATCO LED GLOBE BULB - 4W CLEAR, E12 CANDELABRASatco's 4W LED globe bulb is a candelabra-base decorative lamp built to drop straight into incandescent chandeliers, vanity fixtures, pendants, and ceiling fans. It delivers about 350 lumens with a 3000K soft white color temperature - the same glow shape as a 40-watt incandescent globe, on roughly one-tenth the power.
- 4W LED, 40W incandescent equivalent
- 350 lumens, 3000K soft white
- Clear glass globe
- E12 candelabra base
- Dimmable on most standard incandescent and LED-rated dimmers
- 15,000-hour rated life
- Energy Star qualified
- Indoor use
Use Case: Drop-in replacement for incandescent globe lamps in chandeliers, vanity bars over bathroom mirrors, decorative pendants, candelabra wall sconces, ceiling fan light kits, and small-base table lamps. Decorative shape leaves the bulb visible in fixtures with no shade, so the glass profile matches a traditional globe.
Finish Tip: Clear glass shows the filament-style LED element and throws faceted reflections through chandelier crystals - the right pick when the bulb itself is part of the look.
Color Tip: 3000K soft white reads as a slightly cleaner warm tone - still warm, but a touch crisper than 2700K, well-suited to bathrooms, kitchens, and task vanities. To stay consistent across a room, match all bulbs in one fixture to the same Kelvin.
Dimmer Tip: LEDs dim cleanly on dimmers rated for LED loads. If you see flicker, buzz, or a dim-floor that won't drop below 30%, the dimmer is the issue - swap to an LED-rated dimmer (Lutron Maestro CL, Lutron Caseta, or Leviton Decora) rather than the bulb. The fixture's minimum LED load (often 5W or 10W) also matters - if you have only one bulb on a circuit, you may need a CL-series dimmer that handles light loads.
Note: Not for use in totally enclosed or fully recessed fixtures unless the fixture is rated for enclosed-LED operation - trapped heat shortens LED life. Not for use with timers, photocells, or eyes unless the control is rated for LED loads.
