National Hardware's V238 kickdown door stop holds an open door where you put it and keeps the door from damaging the wall behind it. It mounts to the face of the door near the bottom; kick the leg down and the ribbed foot grips the floor. The spring design holds the stop in the up position, so the door swings freely the rest of the time. Die cast zinc body, satin nickel finish.

Installation: National's installation guide for the 238 calls for a 7/64" (2.8 mm) pilot hole. Mark and drill the holes in the door, then fasten the stop with the three screws supplied.
