Bi-metal reciprocating saw blade engineered for demanding metal cutting. The Heavy Duty series body is built 44% thicker than Lenox's standard blades for less wandering and longer life when cutting heavy steel, stainless, cast iron, and other tough materials. Tip: Variable-pitch (10/14) blades excel at unknown or mixed material thickness. Run orbital setting OFF for metal, apply firm even pressure rather than push-feeding, and let the blade do the work. Cutting oil on long stainless cuts roughly doubles blade life.
