Turn 90 degrees from a male NPT threaded port into 3/4" ID polyethylene pipe, braided vinyl tubing, garden hose, or washdown line - no extra fittings needed. The 3/4" male elbow is the workhorse residential size: turns the corner out of a standard hose-bib into a 3/4" PE run, transitions a sprinkler-manifold port to a 3/4" lateral, makes the bend off a pump discharge to a contractor washdown hose, and routes a 3/4" PE feeder out of a backflow preventer or pressure regulator into the start of a yard irrigation main.

Tip: Apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE thread tape to the male NPT threads - no pipe dope, which can soften the nylon over time. Push the PE pipe fully past both barb shoulders before snugging the blue nut; a partial insertion will weep at 230 PSI even if the nut feels tight.
