Ali Industries Gator 4223 is a box of 25 garnet sanding sheets in 220 grit (Extra Fine). Garnet is the traditional bare-wood finishing abrasive -- it fractures as it wears, exposing fresh cutting edges, and leaves a cleaner scratch pattern for stain than aluminum oxide. Each 9" x 11" sheet cuts down to fit 1/4, 1/3, or 1/2 sheet power sanders, or works flat for hand sanding.

Use Tip: 220 garnet is the last-pass sanding grit for hand-finished cabinets and furniture. Wipe with a tack cloth after each pass to keep grit and fibers off the surface.

Care Tip: Garnet is not the abrasive for metal, drywall, or painted surfaces -- stick with aluminum oxide for those. Keep the box dry; humidity softens the paper backing and shortens sheet life.
