Ali Industries Gator 4226 is a box of 25 garnet sanding sheets in 120 grit (Fine). Garnet is the traditional bare-wood finishing abrasive -- it fractures as it wears, exposing fresh cutting edges, and leaves a cleaner scratch pattern for stain than aluminum oxide. Each 9" x 11" sheet cuts down to fit 1/4, 1/3, or 1/2 sheet power sanders, or works flat for hand sanding.

Use Tip: Light pressure, with the grain, in overlapping passes. Change sheets before they glaze -- a dulled garnet sheet burnishes wood, and burnished wood takes stain unevenly.

Care Tip: Garnet is not the abrasive for metal, drywall, or painted surfaces -- stick with aluminum oxide for those. Keep the box dry; humidity softens the paper backing and shortens sheet life.
