One-piece cast red brass cap that closes off the end of a 3/8" male-threaded pipe or fitting. The female American Standard Taper Pipe Threads seal against brass or steel pipe, and the lead free red brass is made for potable water service.

Tip: Apply PTFE (Teflon) tape or pipe sealant to the male threads, then tighten the cap about 2-1/2 turns past finger tight. Tapered pipe threads seal on the thread flanks, so do not try to stop a weep by overtightening - back off, re-tape and retighten instead.
