The Lazer CT is Lenox's carbide-tipped recip blade for cast iron, stainless steel, and other dense metals where standard bi-metal blades dull quickly. Carbide teeth and a titanium-nitride coating deliver up to 50x the life of conventional bi-metal blades in the same materials. The 6" length is the do-it-all size for residential plumbing and HVAC cut-outs.

Tip: Let the carbide teeth do the work - excess feed pressure chips carbide. Keep RPM moderate, orbital action OFF, and ease into the cut for the first 1/4" until the kerf is established. For long stainless cuts, a shot of cutting fluid every 30 seconds extends life noticeably.
