Ali Industries Gator 7263 is a 3-pack of silicon carbide sanding sheets in 120 grit (Medium). Silicon carbide is the finish-sanding abrasive -- sharper and harder than aluminum oxide, it cuts cleanly through cured lacquer, polyurethane, varnish, and enamel without loading up. The waterproof paper backing lets you wet-sand for the smoothest between-coat scuff.

Use Tip: Wet-sand with light pressure for the smoothest scuff between coats. Change sheets often -- silicon carbide dulls faster than aluminum oxide.

Care Tip: For wet sanding, a drop of dish soap in the water breaks the surface tension and improves the cut. Rinse and dry the sheet before storing so the backing doesn't warp.
