A gate that closes itself is a gate that stays closed. The spring inside each of these National Hardware hinges is fully enclosed, so there is nothing exposed to catch clothing, collect dirt or rust out, and the tension adjusts with the tool in the box until the gate swings shut at the speed you want. WeatherGuard protection over black plated steel handles the weather that comes with being outdoors year round.

• Includes 2 heavy duty gate hinges, a hinge tension adjustment tool and matching mounting hardware
• Strong, fully enclosed adjustable spring closes gates or doors automatically
• WeatherGuard protection resists harsh weather and prevents corrosion
• Black plated steel finish
• Works on outdoor wood, steel or vinyl gates
• Mounts left hand or right hand; hardware included
• Backed by the National Hardware limited lifetime warranty

Tip: Set spring tension so the gate latches on its own but does not slam. A gate that slams will work its screws loose within a season.
