Plastic barbed 90-degree elbow for changing direction in PEX tubing runs. Connects 1/2" PEX tubing on both ends using copper crimp rings (sold separately) to form a secure, leak-free joint. Suitable for residential PEX plumbing including hot and cold water distribution lines.

Installation Tip: Slide a copper crimp ring onto the tubing first, push the PEX fully onto the elbow barb until it bottoms, then position the ring 1/8" to 1/4" from the tube end and crimp with a calibrated PEX crimp tool. Tug-test the joint before pressurizing.

Note: Support plastic elbows with hangers in long horizontal runs to prevent stress on the fitting body. Keep PEX fittings out of direct UV exposure -- enclose them in walls or insulate if installed in vented attics.
