Cap off a 4" ABS main sewer or building drain with this Charlotte Pipe hub cap. Solvent welds over the outside of Schedule 40 ABS pipe for a permanent seal on abandoned building drain stub-outs, or for a temporary closure during pressure or ball-testing of a new DWV system.

Tip: ABS requires only ABS solvent cement (no primer). Deburr the pipe end and dry-fit before cementing. Apply an even coat, push and quarter-turn, hold 30 seconds.
