DAP 100% Silicone Rubber Kitchen, Bath & Plumbing Sealant is a durable, 100% waterproof sealant for sealing water and moisture out of kitchen and bathroom work. The silicone rubber formula stays flexible and will not crack, and the cured sealant is mold and mildew resistant. Once cured and washed it is safe for incidental food contact and meets FDA Reg 21, CFR 177.2600.

Before you apply: This sealant corrodes some metals - DAP does not recommend it on or near brass, copper or copper alloys, zinc, iron, galvanized metal, or any other surface attacked by weak acids. Keep joint width under 1/2"; if the joint is deeper than 1/2", fill it with foam backer rod first. It will not cure in a totally confined space, and it gives off a vinegar-like odor while curing, so ventilate the room.
