Old Masters Wiping Stain is a thick, rich, oil-based interior stain. The heavy-bodied formula allows easy application and superior color control, achieving rich, uniform color on most surfaces in a single application. Use it on unfinished wood, previously finished surfaces, fiberglass, coated metal, and composition surfaces - as a stain on bare wood, as a glaze over painted surfaces, or for antiquing and wood graining.

• Especially recommended for woods such as pine, birch, maple, poplar, and cherry
• Also ideal for difficult-to-stain woods such as plywood and veneers

• Coverage: approximately 31 square feet per half pint (500 sq ft per gallon; spreading rate varies significantly with application method and the condition of the wood)
• Dry time: approximately 10 hours; topcoat after 12 hours, or allow 24 hours on hardwood floors and before water-based finishes

DANGER: Rags, steel wool, sanding residue, and other wastes used or soaked with this product may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded - no ignition source is required.
