Orbit PVC riser pipes connect an underground sprinkler line to hose bibs, drip manifolds, shrub heads, spray heads, impact sprinklers, or gear-drive rotors, raising the head to the height the planting needs. Thicker wall construction than Schedule 40 pipe delivers greater rigidity and a higher pressure rating, and the tapered inside ends let a standard pop-up head slide up and down without restriction.

Rise: Close nipple - threaded ends only, with no straight barrel between them. Use it when the sprinkler body has to sit as close to the lateral fitting as the threads allow.

Installation Tip: As plants grow, extend the riser with a Schedule 40 PVC coupling and another riser section rather than replacing it. Orbit supplies this riser from a close nipple (threads only) up to 48".
