Tip: Use a strap wrench or two locknuts when tightening so you don't crush the cast zinc body. Apply a small amount of thread compound or anti-seize on the threads in damp locations to keep the joint serviceable later. Bond per NEC requirements when the nipple completes the equipment grounding path.
