Turn a 1" polyethylene pipe run 90 degrees and step down to a 1/2" threaded connection in a single fitting. The barbed insert end drives into black poly tubing (secured with a stainless clamp) while the FPT end accepts any 1/2" male-threaded valve, riser, or adapter -- the standard combination for pulling a 1/2" sprinkler riser off a 1" irrigation main.
