Lead-free brass crimp adapter that transitions PEX tubing to male iron pipe (MIP) threads, for tying a PEX supply run into threaded valves, fixtures, water heaters and iron pipe. Insert the barbed end into the tubing and secure it with a copper crimp ring or stainless steel clamp.

• Machined from heavyweight plumbing brass bar stock; lead-free construction for potable water systems
• UPC / IAPMO certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61-G and Standard 14 for potable water
• Manufactured in accordance with ASTM F1807; joins with copper crimp rings (ASTM F1807) or stainless steel clamp rings (ASTM F2098)
• Barbed insert end fits PEX tubing made to ASTM F876/F877 - PEX-A, PEX-B or PEX-C alike
• ASTM F1807 service rating: 100 psi hot- and cold-water distribution at temperatures up to and including 180 degrees F
• For potable water service lines and radiant heat tubing; installs with common crimp rings, no soldering required
