Rust-Oleum Sure Color Exterior Paint + Primer is a ready-to-roll water-based acrylic that ships pre-mixed, so there is no tinting and no wait at the paint counter. It combines paint and primer in one formula with strong adhesion and coverage, fade resistance, and all-weather durability. The flat sheen is the one Rust-Oleum recommends for siding.

Where to use: exterior siding, trim, windows, and doors on wood and masonry. Two coats are required on new or uncoated surfaces, and dark colors may need additional coats. Do not use on decks, porches, floors, or areas subject to standing water.

Tip: Stir well and intermix cans of the same color before starting so the color stays consistent across the job. Rust-Oleum recommends priming with Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 over contrasting colors, bare wood, and metal. Protect the can from freezing in storage. Wait 30 days before washing a freshly painted surface, then clean with a mild, non-oily soap and water.
