Charlotte Pipe 45-degree elbow (also called a 1/8 bend) in black ABS for drain, waste, and vent piping. The 45-degree turn is the standard for offsetting a run around framing or stepping a vent around an obstruction without forcing a sharp 90-degree change of direction.

Typical Use: Toilet drain offsets, shower drain branches, branch arms running to the main stack, and mid-size vent geometry in 3" ABS systems.

Tip: ABS uses its own solvent cement - never use PVC cement on ABS or you will not get a proper bond. ABS does not require a separate primer; clean the surfaces, apply ABS cement to pipe and fitting, push together with a quarter turn, and hold for 30 seconds.
