A 1/2" wrought copper street elbow that turns a copper line 90 degrees in tight installations. One end is a male fitting (FTG) that inserts directly into the next female sweat cup, saving the run of an extra coupling in cabinets, joist bays, and mechanical closets.

Tip: Clean the male end and the mating cup with emery cloth until bright, apply a thin, even coat of lead-free flux, and heat the fitting side of the joint so the solder wicks toward the flame around the full circumference.
