Use Tip: Replace the plunger when the hydrant drips after shut-off, when flow becomes restricted, or every several seasons of heavy use. Pull the operating rod assembly out the top of the head, swap the old plunger off the brass rod stem, and reinstall. No excavation required.

Service Note: The Y1 hydrant uses a different plunger (Part #10106). Confirm your hydrant model on the head casting before ordering. Shut off the water at the main before pulling the operating rod.
