TPI Selection Tip: Lower TPI (6-14) for fast aggressive cuts in thick wood. Mid TPI (18-24) for general metal work and finished wood cuts. High TPI (24-32) for thin sheet metal and fine-edge cuts where the finish matters more than speed. At least three teeth should be in contact with the workpiece at all times to prevent grabbing.

Cutting Note: For metal work, use cutting fluid or oil and reduce the orbital action setting on your saw. For straight cuts in wood, set orbital to high and clamp the workpiece firmly to prevent vibration.
