National swivel single pulley with a 1" solid-brass sheave on a zinc die-cast body. The swivel eye lets the pulley rotate freely with line angle as the load moves - eliminating rope-twist that would otherwise bind the sheave and bind the rope. Distinct from a fixed pulley (G3632), which keeps the sheave aligned with the mounting surface and is best for stationary direction-change at a known angle. The swivel design is the right pick when the load point moves (hauling cargo across a barn floor, hoisting a kayak off a wall mount, raising a flag on a halyard).

Tip: The 1" sheave is the workhorse residential size - garden hoist for hanging baskets and bird feeders, indoor / outdoor clothesline turnarounds, garage storage hoists for ladders and folding chairs, treehouse and swing-set bucket lines, costume / drape rigging in home theater, and barn-loft tool and feed-bucket lifts. The larger 1" sheave accepts thicker line (up to 1/4") and runs more smoothly under hand-haul than the 3/4" version. Pair two pulleys (one fixed at the load, one at the haul point) for a basic 2:1 mechanical advantage that halves the pulling force at the cost of doubling the rope distance.
