Solid steel plug with male NPT threads and a square head, used to close off the end of a pipe run or seal an unused outlet. The square head accepts a standard pipe wrench for tight install and removal. Black (mill) finish is intended for dry, interior, and non-corrosive service.

Tip: Apply pipe-thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads, then tighten with a pipe wrench until snug plus one or two additional turns for a leak-tight seal.
