Application Tip: Nylon brushes are intended for water-based finishes only - do not use with shellac or oil-based paints, which can swell the nylon filaments and ruin the chisel edge. Pre-condition the brush in clean water, spin out excess on a brush spinner or against a clean rag, then load the bottom third of the bristles by tapping (not wiping) against the inside of the can. Cut in with the long edge of the angle leading and the short edge following, then feather off the wet edge to blend with the rolled surface for a lap-free finish.

Care Tip: Clean immediately after use in warm soapy water, working the suds down to the ferrule until the rinse runs clear. Comb the bristles with a brush comb to restore the chisel edge, spin dry, then hang by the handle hole or wrap in heavy paper or the original keeper so the angled shape sets back up between coats. Stored properly, Nylox Glide brushes deliver hundreds of jobs.
