Lead free brass insert tee for branching or combining PEX water lines. The barbed ports crimp onto PEX tubing with common copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamp rings - no soldering, torch or glue. JMF PEX fittings join, route, and cap water service and radiant heat tubing.

• Formed from heavyweight plumbing brass bar stock; lead free
• UPC / IAPMO certified to ANSI / NSF Standard 61-G and Standard 14 for potable water
• Manufactured in accordance with ASTM F-1807, which covers these fittings for 100 psi cold- and hot-water distribution systems operating at temperatures up to and including 180 degrees F
• Barbed ends are designed for insertion into PEX tubing that conforms to ASTM F-876 and F-877
• Use with copper crimp rings made in compliance with ASTM F 1807, or stainless steel clamp rings made in compliance with ASTM F 2098
• Easy to install with no soldering required; resists scale buildup and allows quick water flow
• Crimp rings and clamp rings are sold separately (JMF part numbers 62163 and 62164)

Tip: Cut each PEX line square, slide the crimp ring or clamp ring on before seating, and push the tubing fully onto the barb until it bottoms out before you crimp.
