MULTI-MATERIAL DRILL BIT - 3/8" x 4-1/2"One drill bit for nearly every material on the job. The micrograin carbide tip provides maximum hardness and heat resistance, reducing wear during extreme cutting applications, and the self-centering 118-degree point with 4 sharpened edges bores through multiple materials easily and accurately without walking or wandering. The "S" ground flute design optimizes material removal.
- 3/8" drilling diameter
- 3" cutting length, 4-1/2" overall length
- Micrograin carbide tip for hardness and heat resistance
- Self-centering 118-degree point with 4 sharpened edges resists walking
- "S" ground flute design optimizes material removal
- Drills alloy steel, brick, ceramic tile, composite, concrete, drywall, fiberglass, masonry, plaster, plastic, plexiglass, porcelain, slate, and wood
Tip: Century's own instructions: when a hole passes through more than one material, drill the softest first and work your way up to the hardest, and use percussion on concrete only - appropriate use extends drill life. Note also that 3" is the cutting length; the 4-1/2" figure is the bit end to end, so 3" is the deepest hole it will bore.
