Varathane Ultimate Spar Urethane Water Based is a crystal clear exterior wood finish built for weather. UV absorbers guard the wood underneath from sun damage, and the non-yellowing waterborne formula resists scratches while staying clear over time. It goes on milky and dries crystal clear, with low odor and soap-and-water clean-up.

Where to use: outdoor furniture, doors, windows, fences, railings, house trim, and boats above the water line. Not recommended for decks or other high-traffic surfaces, siding, or rough-sawn wood.

Tip: Stir thoroughly - do not shake. Shaking creates bubbles that show in the finish. Apply with a good quality synthetic bristle brush, foam brush, or applicator rather than a roller, and work between 55 and 90 deg F with humidity below 85 percent, out of direct sunlight.
