Tip: On the push-fit side, cut pipe square (PEX cutter for PEX), deburr the inside and outside edges, then push the pipe firmly past the O-ring until it bottoms out. On the threaded side, wrap 2-3 turns of PTFE tape clockwise on the male threads, then hand-tighten plus one to one-and-a-half turns with a wrench - avoid over-torque so the brass body does not crack. Use a SharkBite disconnect clip to remove the push-fit connection.
