Installation: Wipe the inside face of the window trim clean, press the tape around the full perimeter, peel the tape backing, and stick the film to the tape leaving a slight overlap on all sides. Run a hair dryer in slow passes a few inches off the surface; the film pulls taut as it heats. Trim the excess with a sharp knife.

Tip: The 5-window kit is the most cost-effective option per window if you are doing a whole room or floor of a house. Cut the film to the largest opening first, then use the leftover for smaller windows - you cannot piece small sections together once the tape is down, so plan the cuts before peeling the tape backing.
