XIM UMA ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY PRIMER + SEALER + BONDER

XIM UMA is a high-performance water-based bonder with both primer and adhesive properties. It makes paint stick to tough-to-paint surfaces including ceramic tile, porcelain, glass, Formica and melamine laminates, PVC, fiberglass, many plastics, Kynar and silicone polyester siding, aluminum, galvanized and many metals, plus wood.

UMA provides excellent adhesion and wet adhesion to hard-to-paint surfaces. It can be used for indoor or outdoor applications and is compatible with oil/alkyd, latex, urethane, epoxy, and lacquer topcoats. Wet sanding is generally not required on clean dull paintable surfaces, but sanding or dulling is recommended for maximum adhesion on tile, porcelain, and glazed block.
