Tip: Locate a ceiling joist or beam, then pre-drill a small pilot hole (about 1/16" smaller than the hook shank) and thread the hook in by hand or with a screwdriver shaft through the loop for leverage. The 25 lb safe working load is for solid-wood mounting. For drywall-only ceilings without a joist behind, use a swag-style toggle hook rated for the intended load instead.
