Anderson Metals lead free brass compression nut for joining 5/16" OD tubing in potable water, gasoline, oil, and vacuum line applications. Compression fittings require no flaring tool, no soldering, and no thread sealant - just slip the nut and sleeve over the tube, hand-tighten, then wrench-tighten one more turn. The lead free brass body meets federal Safe Drinking Water Act requirements (0.25% maximum weighted average lead content).
