Anderson Metals lead free brass compression nut for 5/16" OD tubing. The nut draws the sleeve against the fitting body to form the seal, so a compression joint needs no flaring tool, no solder, and no thread sealant, and it can be taken apart and remade.

Tip: These are Anderson's standard short nuts; long nuts for higher-vibration applications are a separate part number. Hand-tighten first, then snug with a wrench - over-tightening can deform the sleeve and cause a slow leak.
