NATIONAL HARDWARE V2310 SINGLE PEG HOOK, ZINC PLATED - 4"

Organize a workshop, garage, retail display, or utility room with the National Hardware V2310 single peg hook. The hook drops straight into 1/8" or 1/4" perforated pegboard with no fasteners or tools, and the zinc-plated steel construction holds up to repeated tool grabs without flexing out. Use the shorter sizes for small hand tools, tape rolls, gauges, and packaged retail goods, and step up to the longer hooks for coiled extension cords, multiple wrenches stacked on one peg, hose nozzles, and bulkier accessories.

  • Single straight peg hook with formed loop top that snaps into pegboard
  • Fits both 1/8" and 1/4" perforated pegboard (standard residential and commercial board)
  • Steel rod construction with zinc-plated finish for indoor corrosion resistance
  • Tool-free installation -- hook seats by hand, no fasteners required
  • Hook length (projection from board): 4"
  • Model V2310 single hook series

Sizing Tip: Match the hook length to what you are hanging. 2" hooks hold thin items like small hand tools, tape, key rings, and blister-packed retail goods sitting flush to the board. 4" hooks handle deeper items such as drill bits in cases, pliers, multiple gauges, or stacked retail packs. 6" hooks carry bulkier loads -- coiled cords, hose loops, longer wrenches, or several items stacked on a single peg. When in doubt, size up: a 6" hook can hold a 2"-deep item, but a 2" hook cannot hold a 6"-deep coil.

Installation Note: Insert the bent loop end into a pegboard hole from the front, then rotate the hook down so the lower end seats into the hole below. For loose-fitting hooks on lighter-gauge pegboard, add a plastic pegboard locking clip (sold separately) to keep the hook from lifting out when you grab the item.

Use Cases: Workshop tool walls, garage organization, retail end-caps and slatwall displays, craft rooms, utility closets, shed walls, mudroom organization, and small-parts staging in shop kits. For outdoor or wet locations, step up to a stainless or vinyl-coated pegboard hook -- zinc plating is rated for indoor and dry-exterior service only.
