Tip: Always drive the screw shank fully into a stud, joist, or solid wood backing -- drywall alone will not hold the rated load. Mount the two hooks roughly an inch closer together than the ladder's rung-to-rung spacing so the rungs drop in with a little compression. Drill a pilot hole one drill size smaller than the shank in hardwood to ease installation.
